"I truly believe that yoga lights up the path home – home to oneself – and this has the power to raise the consciousness of each and every one of us." - Sherinshe

Yoga Style

Yoga is one of my greatest joys, which is connected to my love of the creative arts, nature, poetry, mindfulness, animals, philosophy, Shakti (feminine uprising), spirituality, and the cosmic universe.

I mainly teach vinyasa flow and yin yoga, but I incorporate other styles of yoga too, such as restorative and hatha yoga. I teach classes from my heart and soul, combining creative flowing yang sections with gentle yin and restorative sections to encourage a deep sense of relaxation and nurturing self-care.

I have been practicing yoga regularly for two decades, and teaching vinyasa flow and yin yoga since 2012. I have taught yoga at various gyms, schools, courts, and yoga studios in the UK and abroad, including in Hampshire, Kensington and Chelsea, Westminster, Holland Park, Cambodia and New York. I currently teach weekly classes in Hampshire.

I enjoy teaching clients 121, as everything can be designed especially for you. Please get in touch if this is of interest to you.

My favourite type of yoga teaching is via retreats, as they allow small groups to deep dive. I have hosted ten yoga retreats so far - all rated 10/10 for overall enjoyment - and I have many more planned.

All classes are suitable for all levels. Modifications and options are provided to cater for different levels, injuries or other health related issues.

I always encourage students to connect to the wisdom of their own bodies and then listen carefully…

Connection to Self

"For me, the easiest way to connect to myself is through yoga. The word yoga takes its root from the Sanskrit word yuj, which means to join, to yoke together, to unite into one integral whole. In other words, it is the union of individual energy and universal energy. The word ‘yoga’, in short, means ‘union’.

I found an incredible teacher in my early twenties and she showed me the craziest thing: yoga made my mind go bright white and filled my soul with light and love. I would skip home to my tiny flat in Elephant and Castle in London after my bi-weekly yoga classes with this profound sense of lightness that I had never experienced before. Of course, I know now that humans are made of light and love, and it is only the absence of light and love that creates darkness and fear. But it was yoga that showed me that before I studied it at an intellectual level. It was yoga that gave that gift to me. It was yoga that showed me the way home to myself.

I have said it a million times, so much so that my husband now rolls his eyes when I say it, but after I have practised yoga: ‘I feel more like myself’. Without yoga, I sometimes stray elsewhere, somewhere that is not my home. That is why one of the best decisions I ever made was to train as a yoga teacher in 2012. I dived itself the philosophy of yoga and deepened my practice, and now I can share my passion for yoga with others, as I truly believe that yoga lights up the path home – home to oneself – and this has the power to raise the consciousness of each and every one of us."
